About ScanPoint®

ScanPoint® started out in 1998 as Portsmouth Software Company in Portsmouth New Hampshire.

In 2001 the company name was changed to ScanPoint® Incorporated, to reflect a national plan to focus on sales and marketing. ScanPoint® EasyFile® was initially developed for Canon business systems in 1987 and sold through Canon's North American distribution channel. In 1998 the Portsmouth software acquired all rights to the EasyFile® software.

After acquisition, the EasyFile® software was migrated to a complete 32 bit code set and has been subsequently enhanced to add robust capture and web capabilities as well as increased security and audit tracking capability.

ScanPoint® has developed an extensive integration capability with multi-function peripherals for products such as TimeMatters and Net Documents.¬† ¬†ScanPoint® has created an application called Virtual Twain™, that facilitates a software based Twain integration for practically all existing Twain based applications.

ScanPoint® currently has customers across the United States as well as national agreements and offerings for its software with Nationwide Insurance, Stewart Title, Lexis-Nexis, Sharp and eCopy.
